1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Meditation Timer - Focus You (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Who Can Use This App

✅ If you are under 18, you must have parental consent

✅ Customizable meditation preferences and settings
✅ Progress tracking with weekly and monthly insights
✅ Multi-language support for global accessibility
✅ Light and dark theme options
✅ Secure cloud data synchronization across devices

What This App Is NOT:

❌ Not a medical device or health diagnostic tool
❌ Not a replacement for professional mental health care
❌ Not intended to treat, diagnose, or cure any condition

3. User Account and Responsibilities

Account Creation

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately at umituz9999@gmail.com of any unauthorized use

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Track your meditation sessions
Customize your meditation preferences
Share your positive experiences (optional)

❌ You MAY NOT:

Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
Impersonate any person or entity
Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Text, graphics, logos, icons, images
Audio files, meditation guides, timer sounds
Software, code, and design
Trademarks and service marks

are owned by Meditation Timer - Focus You and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
Download and use the App on your personal devices

You do NOT have the right to:

Your Content

When you create meditation session notes or preferences:

You retain ownership of your content
You grant us a license to store and display your content for App functionality
You represent that you own or have rights to the content you provide

5. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We collect minimal data (email, meditation sessions, preferences)
We use Supabase for secure data storage
We never sell your data
You can request data deletion at any time

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Technical Warranty

Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (currently $0 for free users).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meditation Timer - Focus You, its owners, developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any content you provide or actions you take

9. Termination

By You

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account, email us at umituz9999@gmail.com.

By Us

We reserve the right to:

✅ Discontinue the App at any time without notice
✅ Modify or change the App's features

Upon termination:

Your right to use the App ceases immediately
We may delete your account and data (subject to legal requirements)
Sections of these Terms that should survive (Disclaimers, Liability, Indemnification) remain in effect

The App uses Supabase for backend services (authentication, database, storage).

We are not responsible for Supabase's availability or performance
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

Legal or regulatory requirements

How We Notify You

Minor changes: We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top

Your Continued Use

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with changes, stop using the App and delete your account.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First:

We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days

Formal Disputes:

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court
You agree to waive any right to a jury trial

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action or collective proceeding.

13. Children's Use

Meditation Timer - Focus You is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13
If we discover a child under 13 has provided data, we will delete it immediately

14. International Users

The App is operated from Turkey. If you access the App from outside Turkey:

You are responsible for compliance with local laws
Your data may be transferred to and processed in Turkey
By using the App, you consent to this transfer

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable:

The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary
The remaining provisions remain in full force and effect

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Meditation Timer - Focus You regarding the App.

These Terms supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

17. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
